Check Out our Chapbook Opportunities
Each year we hold two Chapbook Competitions published in the Spring and Fall. We began our chapbook competitions in 2022 and have had a beautiful response! It went so well that we decided to continue the competition throughout the year, allowing two rounds and up to 3 winners per submission window. That is a potential of six chapbooks a year. We take great care and pride in this program, providing the same high echelon of service to our chapbooks as our traditional publishing projects. Many chapbook competitions print a limited number of books, and once they are all sold and gone, so is the publisher's support to the author. That is not the case with Quillkeepers Press (QKP). Chapbook winners receive a standard traditional publishing contract, complimentary copies, and continued support for the contract duration. ***Please read and follow the FAQ and submission guidelines for consideration. Failure to follow the directions will automatically disqualify the manuscript.
Chapbook Competition Spring 2023
Quillkeepers Press, LLC is holding a poetry chapbook competition. We will select up to 3 winners. We hope to publish them in the Spring, 2023. Those selected will be given 5 free copies of the chapbook, as well as a standard publishing contract. We do not have a specific theme in mind, we just want something captivating, breathtaking, and one of a kind.
Please keep in mind that while we are not looking for a designated theme, your work should have a central theme to it. For example, please do not send a manuscript that includes love poetry and mental health poetry.
We do not accept previously published work for our traditional publishing opportunities. Please read the guidelines thoroughly before submitting.
