While there is not a copyright page on the interior, we found that Routledge and Sons Publishing produced Lamb's Tales From Shakespeare between 1812-1888. This copy is gorgeous with 80 black and white and color illustrations throughout. There are some signs of age with paper discoloration and wear on the interior spine before the title page. Pictures are included in this listing. Otherwise, it is still a gorgeous book!

While this book does not state the copyright or publishing date, we believe it is between late 1890's to 1904. The Publisher was The Mershon Company who was mainly a printing press until the late 1890's when they switched gears and became publishers. In 1905 they changed their name briefly before selling the company and being acquired by another publishing company.

This book is a two for one as you get not only Tale of Two Cities, but also Sketches by Boz. This copy has normal wear and tear but is in great condition for the being well over 100 years old.
